Adobe Captivate 7
COURSE DESCRIPTION
During this 4 week course, students will learn how to navigate the Captivate 7 environment and harness the features and capabilites of the software to develop effective eLearning projects. Students will complete a project over the course of four 3-hour live sessions. Students will be expected to devote 2-4 hours each week outside of class for developing their projects.
Each session is delivered in a live, interactive online environment.

HARDWARE & SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
The Center uses Adobe Connect for delivering live training via the Web. In order to attend The Center’s virtual classes, please review the following technical requirements below to ensure you will be able to access and participate in the course:
Windows
Course will be taught using a Windows Environment. Students will need to use the Windows version of Captivate 7 for class sessions and homework.
- Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7/8
- Microsoft Internet Explorer, versions 7-10; Mozilla Firefox; Google Chrome
- Adobe® Flash® Player 10.3 or later
To be completed before first class session:
As this course is designed to be interactive, with students being assigned project work in between class sessions, students must have access to a working version of Adobe Captivate 7. A 30-day, fully functional trial version can be downloaded from Adobe’s website. The trial version can be used at no cost through the end of the 30-day trial window.
